About XRayDetect
XRayDetect is an engineering team built around software and electronics for X-ray systems. We work alongside makers and integrators of security-screening and industrial X-ray equipment, taking on the hardest engineering inside their products: image processing, control electronics, and detector integration.
What we specialize in
Rather than being a general-purpose software studio, we concentrate on one narrow, knowledge-intensive domain — X-ray inspection. That focus gives us a depth of expertise that's difficult to pick up casually:
- Dual energy image processing — material discrimination, calibration, colorization, and real-time visualization.
- Control electronics — controllers for X-ray scanners and X-ray systems, embedded software, and SDKs.
- Detector integration — substantial hands-on work with industrial line-scan detectors.
- Automatic detection & AI — recognizing objects and materials in X-ray images: threats and prohibited items, foreign bodies in food, and NDT defects.
